EASY WAY TO MAKE PUFF PUFF

PUFF PUFF is a Nigerian spongy  snack recipe that is deep-fried,and categorise under the  families of small chops, here is my wonderful recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. Flour   ……………………….   500g
  2. Sugar   ………………………   300g
  3. Yeast  ………………………..   150g
  4. Salt   ………………………….  A pinch
  5. Flavor  ……………………….   1/2 tbsp (optional)
  6. Veg.oil  for frying

STEPS

  1. Add your flour into a clean bowl
  2. Add sugar,flavor,salt,and mix very well
  3. Add your yeast,(NOTE: mix your yeast with warm water to make the puff puff rise faster)
  4. Add water to the mixture them hand mix until it becomes smooth and not too watery it should be thicker than the batter for PANCAKES
  5. the deep fry(NOTE:  please make sure the oil is not too hot else your puff wont be well cooked)

SIMPLE AND EASY SOFT CHIN CHIN

some persons like their chin soft while some like it hard… well,this is actually the soft one … and its easy to make

INGREDIENT

  1. Flour …………………………..  500g
  2. Sugar ………………………..   100g
  3. Milk(pd) ……………………..   150g
  4. Vanilla flavor ………………   50g
  5. Baking powder ……………   20g
  6. Butter …………………………  50g
  7. Egg ……………………………  1
  8. Veg.oil for frying
  9. Water to mix  ……………….  1/2 cup

STEPS

  1. Add your Flour into a clean bowl
  2. Add sugar,powdered milk,vanilla flavor,baking powder,and butter
  3. Add your egg(mix very well)
  4. Make a little hole in the center of the mixed flour
  5. Add water and mix very well
  6. Pour the dough on a surface and start kneading until smooth
  7. flatten the dough and cut into your favorite shapes
  8. Heat your vegetable oil and then fry(WATCH VIDEO HERE)

RIPE PLANTAIN AND NATIVE SAUCE(WITH FRESH FISH)

Okay guys i got this recipe from my dad… he said they used it during the war( 1976 there about) so i decide to give it a shot, try it and you wont regret what you got.

INGREDIENTS

  1. Ripe plantain ………………….  2
  2. Onion …………………………….  1 ball
  3. Garden eggs  …………………   300g
  4. Fresh pepper  ………………..   70g
  5. Scent leaf  ……………………..   half cup
  6. Utazi leaf  ………………………   half cup
  7. Ginger   …………………………   20g
  8. Salt   ……………………………..  To taste
  9. African nutmeg(Ehuru)  …..   To taste
  10. Fresh fish  ……………………..   Medium size
  11. seasonings  ………………………..  To taste

STEPS

  1. Peel you ripe plantain and then boil
  2. Dice your onion,garden eggs and fresh pepper
  3. pound very well,your scent leaf and utazi leaf together
  4. Mix the garnishing in one deep plate i.e onion,garden eggs,fresh pepper and the leafs
  5. Add Ginger,Salt,African nutmeg,and seasoning(mix very well)
  6. spice you fish with salt and fry
  7. heat the red oil and pour it immediately inside your garnishing (mix very well)

AFRICAN SALAD SAUCED RECIPES

check out my fried recipe on African salad and choose wisely,those in Enugu state, Nigeria can’t do without this sauced recipe… then i made easy so that you can find it convenient to do it anytime without thinking of it,as stress.

INGREDIENTS

  1. Abacha (shredded cassava) —————————    3 cups
  2. Red oil    —————————————————–   2 cooking spoon
  3. water made from palm fraud ash ———————-  1/2 cup
  4. salt            —————————————————   (To taste)
  5. maggi      —————————————————-    (To taste)
  6. African nutmeg (Ehuru)   ——————————-    20g
  7. Chili pepper   ———————————————-    40g
  8. Oil beans (ugba)   —————————————-    150g
  9. Garden egg leaf    —————————————-    1 1/2 cup
  10. Onion    —————————————————–     1 ball
  11. Fresh pepper    ——————————————-      70g
  12. Crayfish   ————————————————–  (optional)

STEPS

  1. Pour red oil in a small mixing plate
  2. Add water made from palm fraud ash, little at a time
  3. Mix very well until it thickens
  4. Add salt,maggi, African nutmeg (Ehuru),Chili pepper.
  5. Soak your abacha(shredded cassava) in a cold water for at least 58 secs
  6. Remove from water and put inside a clean bowl
  7. Add Oil beans (ugba), Garden egg lea, onion,fresh pepper
  8. Then pour in you red oil sauce and mix very well (WATCH VIDEO)

AFRICAN SALAD MADE EASY(FRIED RECIPE)

There are two different ways of making African salad that i know of…well if you must know am from Imo state and my mum is from Enugu state, now you know what am talking about … African salad(abacha) is one good dessert that the Enugu people don’t play with, well i don’t play with it too..lol just try this my fried recipe and tell me about it in the comment section.

INGREDIENTS

  1. Abacha (dried shredded cassava)  ———–   3 cups
  2. Red oil  ———————————————–   2 cooking spoon
  3. Onions ———————————————–    1 ball
  4. Crayfish ———————————————    200g
  5. Fresh pepper  ————————————-    70g
  6. Salt  ————————————————–    (to taste)
  7. Maggi ———————————————–     (to taste)
  8. Oil bean seed (ugba) —————————–    150g
  9. Chili pepper   —————————————-    70g
  10. Garden egg leaves ——————————-    11/2 cups

STEPS

  1. Add oil into a clean pot and set to cook
  2. Add onion,fresh pepper,crayfish,salt and stir properly
  3. Add your abacha(dried shredded cassava) and mix very well
  4. Add your maggi,ugba(oil bean seed),chili pepper and mix very well.
  5. served with garden egg leaves and garden egg.

SHARWAMAH MADE EASY

Okay let me not say that everybody loves sharwamah, but trust,me if you try this recipe you wont regret it, for the guys just know this every girl loves sharwamah… lol

INGREDIENTS 

  1. Beef   ———————————    300g
  2. Cabbage  —————————-    150g
  3. Carrot  ——————————–    50g
  4. Mayonnaise ————————-    300g
  5. ketchup   —————————–    100g
  6. Sugar  ——————————–    150g
  7. Green bell pepper —————–    50g
  8. Ginger  ——————————-    10g
  9. Garlic  ——————————–    10g
  10. Hot dog   —————————-     300
  11. Chili pepper  ————————    10g
  12. Fresh tomatoes  ——————-    2 balls
  13. Tortillas wrap ———————–    5 pcs

STEPS

  1. Dice your beef and cook them very well.
  2. Sauce your beef with a pepper sauce and then dry them up
  3. Cut your cabbage, shred your carrot then mix together
  4. Mix your mayonnaise with the ketchup
  5. Add ginger,garlic,chili pepper, and sugar to your mayonnaise  (mix properly)
  6. Mix together your beef,cabbage and mayonnaise (mix very well)
  7. Put your mix on the tortillas wrap, add fresh tomatoes and hot dogs, then fold.
  8. Toast the sharwamah as soon as you finish folding (ready to serve)

EASY WAY ON HOW TO MAKE TRIANGULAR TOASTED BREAD WITH GARNISHED EGG

This toasted bread recipes can never go wrong on a Saturday morning,lol just try it.

INGREDIENTS 

1.Eggs   ————–            8 pcs

2. Bread   ———–            (Your choice)

3. Veg.oil  ———-             1 cooking spoon 

4. Biscuit crumbs ———   (Your chioce)

5. Butter ——————-    50g

6. Onions  —————-     Half ball

7. Peas  ——————-    100g

8. Salt   ——————–      1/4 tsp

9. Maggi   —————-    1/2 cube

 STEPS

  1. Break your eggs into two parts (5 one side and 4 another side)
  2. Remove the brownish part or the bread
  3. Then dice into cubes the removed brownish part
  4. Put your frying pan on the fire
  5. Add you veg.oil and butter
  6. Add your onion and green peas allow to cook
  7. Add your salt and maggi
  8. Add your diced bread and biscuit crumbs (if thick add little water)
  9. Add one side of your eggs (5) then fry very well
  10. Now use the garnished fried egg to fill up the bread and give it a triangular shape
  11. Put the bread with the fillings inside the other side of egg (4) and then toast  (watch video here)

EASY WAY TO MAKE PANCAKES

Every family have this very special recipe for making pancakes…but if you don’t have any try this easy recipe of mine and thank me later… You can’t go wrong with this.

INGREDIENTS

Flour —————  500g
salt. —————— 1/2 teaspoon
egg. —————-    4
milk. —————   2cups
sugar. ————— 150g
veg oil. ————-  1tablespoon

STEPS:

1. Sift flour into a bowl
2. Break your eggs into a clean bowl.
3. Add your sugar, milk, salt and mix very well
4. Add your flour into the egg mixture
5. Mix until smooth ( let be thick running substance)
6. Heat a little oil on a non stick frying pan &fry one at a time…
Serve immediately…

EASY STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE BREAD SANDWITCH

BREAD SANDWITCH

There are different kinds of  sand-witch, but the one i love to prepare all the time is the bread sandwitch,very easy to make and you can have it for breakfast,as desert or as a snack for your child.

INGREDIENTS
1. Bread   ———————–     A loaf
2.  Fresh tomatoes   ————-  2 balls
3. Green pepper  —————-   2
4. Cabbage   ———————   1
5. Fish   ————————–   Half
6. Mayonnaise   —————— 150g
7. Eggs    ————————-  2(boiled)
8. onions  ————————- 1

STEPS

  1. Boil your fish and remove the bones(sardine preferable)
  2. Use the cabbage and mayonnaise to make a coleslaw
  3. Slice your fresh tomatoes,green pepper,boiled egg and onions
  4. Add your fish to the coleslaw and mix very well
  5. Spread the coleslaw on your bread and then arrange the sliced ingredient on the bread
  6. Then cover with the other side of the bread,cut to any shape you want

serve immediately or put into the fridge to chill…

EGG ROLL

INGREDIENTS

1. Eggs.      ——————- 4
2. Salt       ——————— 1/8 tbsp
3. Green pepper ———– 1
4. Onions  ——————– 1
5. Carrots. ——————– 1/2
6. Vegetable oil to fry.

STEPS

1. Dice your carrot, green pepper, and onions
2. Break your eggs into a clean bowl
3. Add your salt, diced carrot, onions, and. green pepper into the eggs
4. Fry with a non stick frying pan and roll as you fry
