EASY WAY TO MAKE PUFF PUFF

PUFF PUFF is a Nigerian spongy  snack recipe that is deep-fried,and categorise under the  families of small chops, here is my wonderful recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. Flour   ……………………….   500g
  2. Sugar   ………………………   300g
  3. Yeast  ………………………..   150g
  4. Salt   ………………………….  A pinch
  5. Flavor  ……………………….   1/2 tbsp (optional)
  6. Veg.oil  for frying

STEPS

  1. Add your flour into a clean bowl
  2. Add sugar,flavor,salt,and mix very well
  3. Add your yeast,(NOTE: mix your yeast with warm water to make the puff puff rise faster)
  4. Add water to the mixture them hand mix until it becomes smooth and not too watery it should be thicker than the batter for PANCAKES
  5. the deep fry(NOTE:  please make sure the oil is not too hot else your puff wont be well cooked)

SIMPLE AND EASY SOFT CHIN CHIN

some persons like their chin soft while some like it hard… well,this is actually the soft one … and its easy to make

INGREDIENT

  1. Flour …………………………..  500g
  2. Sugar ………………………..   100g
  3. Milk(pd) ……………………..   150g
  4. Vanilla flavor ………………   50g
  5. Baking powder ……………   20g
  6. Butter …………………………  50g
  7. Egg ……………………………  1
  8. Veg.oil for frying
  9. Water to mix  ……………….  1/2 cup

STEPS

  1. Add your Flour into a clean bowl
  2. Add sugar,powdered milk,vanilla flavor,baking powder,and butter
  3. Add your egg(mix very well)
  4. Make a little hole in the center of the mixed flour
  5. Add water and mix very well
  6. Pour the dough on a surface and start kneading until smooth
  7. flatten the dough and cut into your favorite shapes

RIPE PLANTAIN AND NATIVE SAUCE(WITH FRESH FISH)

Okay guys i got this recipe from my dad… he said they used it during the war( 1976 there about) so i decide to give it a shot, try it and you wont regret what you got.

INGREDIENTS

  1. Ripe plantain ………………….  2
  2. Onion …………………………….  1 ball
  3. Garden eggs  …………………   300g
  4. Fresh pepper  ………………..   70g
  5. Scent leaf  ……………………..   half cup
  6. Utazi leaf  ………………………   half cup
  7. Ginger   …………………………   20g
  8. Salt   ……………………………..  To taste
  9. African nutmeg(Ehuru)  …..   To taste
  10. Fresh fish  ……………………..   Medium size
  11. seasonings  ………………………..  To taste

STEPS

  1. Peel you ripe plantain and then boil
  2. Dice your onion,garden eggs and fresh pepper
  3. pound very well,your scent leaf and utazi leaf together
  4. Mix the garnishing in one deep plate i.e onion,garden eggs,fresh pepper and the leafs
  5. Add Ginger,Salt,African nutmeg,and seasoning(mix very well)
  6. spice you fish with salt and fry
  7. heat the red oil and pour it immediately inside your garnishing (mix very well)

you cant go wrong with this recipe on how to make porridge yam … simple and fast

INGREDIENTS

  1.  Yam  ———————————————— Half tuber of yam
  2. Beef ————————————————–   400g
  3. Stock fish(optional) ——————————    200g
  4. Smoked fish(optional) —————————   1 medium
  5. Maggi  ———————————————–   To taste
  6. Salt  ————————————————–   To taste
  7. Fresh pepper  ————————————–  70g
  8. Red oil  ———————————————–  1 cooking spoon
  9. Crayfish  ———————————————-  1/2 cup
  10. Onion  ————————————————-   1 ball
  11. vegetable leaf(ugu leaf) (optional) ————–   300g
  12. grounded pepper  ———————————–   70g

STEPS

  1. Cut your yam and set to cook
  2. Add you neatly diced onion and red oil (allow to boil)
  3. Add your beef,crayfish,maggi,salt and fresh pepper(allow to cook for 7mins)
  4. Add your smoked fish,grounded pepper and turn very well
  5. Add vegetable leaf then serve immediately

EASY WAY TO MAKE VEGETABLE SAUCE WITH WHITE RICE

There are different ways to make vegetable sauce but this recipe is one recipe that is stress free and still taste awesome… well i know a couple persons that wants to visit this Sunday because of this recipe.

  3. Beef (diced)   ———————————–  700g
  4. Green bell pepper  —————–   100g
  5. sweet corn —————————-    200g
  6. Green bell pepper  ——————   150g
  7. Baked beans  ————————   200g
  8. Curry  ———————————    50g
  9. Smoked fish  ———————— 1 medium
  10. Vegetable oil —————————  2 cooking Spoon
  11. Onion  ———————————— 1 balls
  12. Fresh pepper  ————————-  100g
  13. Peas  ———————————-    150g
  14. Crayfish  ——————————    150g
  15. Maggi ———————————    (to taste)
  16. Salt  ———————————–    (to taste)
  17. Vegetable leaf(ugu) ————–    350g

STEPS

  1. Boil the carrots and potatoes till its half cooked
  2. Make a stock from your beef by boiling and adding water,salt,maggi,onion and curry.
  3. Pour your vegetable oil into a clean pot
  4. Add Onion,Fresh pepper,green bell pepper,Boiled carrots and potatoes,Beef,Smoked fish and Peas
  5. Mix very well
  6. Add your sweet corn,crayfish, and baked beans(mix very well)
  7. pour in your beef stock
  8. Add salt,maggi ( do not add much because of the beef stock)
  9. Allow to cook for at least 3 mins
  10. Now add your vegetable leaf(ugu leaf) and let it boil for 30 seconds (WATCH VIDEO HERE)
