FRIED SIMPLE FISH ROLL (EFIZZYFOODS)

There are different ways of making fish rolls the two [popular ones in Nigeria is the fried and bake fish rolls ,so i made a simple fried recipes that you can do without stress at all just for you and your family … enjoy it and please drop a comment if it was helpful.

 

INGREDIENTS

 

  • Fish   ——————    ½ fish
  • Veg.oil   ————-      For deep fry
  • Carrots ————-       ½ carrot

 

STEPS

  1. Use a can fish to fasten it up or you boil and spice a fresh fish then debone the fish
  2. Shred the carrots and mix with the fish
  3. Now add water to the pastry mix and knead well 
  4. Put the fish sauce in the pastry and fold 
  5. Egg wash and then fry ( WATCH VIDEO HERE)

CHICKEN IN RICH COCONUT AND SPICES (EFIZZYDADDY)

 

 

INGREDIENTS

  1. chicken (cut into 16 pieces) ———————–  1 kg 
  2. Coconut milk  ——————————————-   400g
  3. Rendang spices  —————————————  1 sachet 
  4. Garlic —————————————————— (to taste)
  5. Onions  —————————————————  2 pieces 
  6. Red pepper  ——————————————–   50g
  7. Lemongrass  ——————————————    1 stick 
  8. Bayleaf   —————————————-              3  pieces 
  9. Lime leave  ————————————               4 to 6  pieces
  10. Cardamon ————————————————  3 pieces
  11. Ground ginger ——————————————    (to taste)
  12. Greater galangal ————————————      3 – 4 slice 
  13. Granulated seasoning ——————————— (to taste)
  14. Vegetable Oil ——————————————–   2 cooking spoons

Plain water

 

STEPS

  1. Heat oil. 
  2. Cook ingredients puree (garlic, onions and red pepper), rendang puree and spices. Stir it well.
  3. Add chickens, coconut milk and water. Stir well. 
  4. Add all seasonings.
  5. Can add more water. Heat it until it’s all cook. (Cook until water dry).

 

NOTE: blend garlic, onions and red pepper (or red cayenne pepper) with food processor into a puree.

 

* for chicken  can change with meat. And if u feel its less spicy u can add red cayenne pepper 3 to 5 pieces

 

RICA PORK MADE EASY(EFIZZYFOODS)

INGREDIENTS

  1. Pork  meat ——————————-  1/2 kg 
  2. Pork samcan meat ——————–   1/2 kg 
  3. Turmeric  puree ———————–   2 spoon 
  4. Lemongrass  (chopped) ————   1 stick 
  5. Garlic ————————————-   to taste
  6. Onions  ———————————-  1 pieces 
  7. Spring onions  ————————-  2 pieces 
  8. Basil leaves   —————————  2 bunches
  9. Red cayenne pepper  —————-  to taste
  10. Ground ginger  ————————-   3 slices
  11. Galangal ———————————  2 slices
  12. Bay leaf ———————————-  2 to 3 pieces
  13. Lime leaves  —————————-  5 pieces
  14. Pandan leaves  ————————   1 piece
  15. Granulated seasoning ——=——-  (to taste)
  16. Salt  ————————————–   to taste
  17. Sugar ————————————-   1 tbs
  18. Vegetable Oil ————————–    2 cooking spoons

Plain water

STEPS 

  1. Cook pork meat and pork samcan with high pressure pan. Until meat tender.
  2. Heat oil, add ingredients puree (garlic, onions and ginger), turmeric puree, pepper and all the spices. Stir it very well.
  3. Add pork meat and samcan meat. Stir it very well.
  4. Add onion springs, basil leaves and all seasonings. 
  5. Stir it well and pour some pork broth. Stir it until it cook  mix well (WATCH VIDEO HERE)

 

* cook pork meat in a high pressure pot until tender

* blend garlic onion and ground ginger with food processor into a puree

 

INDONESIAN CHICKEN SOUP(EFIZZYFOODS)

This recipe is from Indonesia,and it’s called Chicken Soup, I bet there are a lot of chicken soup recipes, but trust me this is one simple and easy recipe for  Chicken Soup… make sure you try it and give us feedback through our whatsaApp number below

 

INGREDIENTS

  1. Chicken fillet (cut into cubes)  ————————    1/2 kg 
  2. Carrots ( peel or the outside skin and slice) —–   2
  3. Potatoes  (cut into cubes) ——————————   2
  4.  Cabbage (cut into big cube)—————————   1/2
  5.  Sticks celery  (cut into 2 cm) ————————–    2
  6. Sticks spring onions – (cut into 2 cm) —————–   2
  7. Seasoning  —————————————————-    to taste 
  8. Sugar     ——————————————————–    to taste
  9. Pepper    ——————————————————–    to taste
  10. 1 ltr plain water

For ganish

STEPS

  1.  Boil water, add chicken boil until cooked 
  2. Add carrots wait till 5 minutes and add potatoes.
  3.  After it cooked add celery, spring onions and cabbages. All the seasonings. Leave the garnish. 
  4. After the soup is cooking. Add fried onions

Notes:

To make soup more rich, can add nutmeg (half), 2 pcs clove and i tbsp butter after the soup cooked.

You can change chicken meat with cow meat.

To make the garnish 

Peel red onions. Wash it and slice the onions. Fried it till dry and crunchy. Can add a pinch of salt so the onion wont tasteless.

NIGERIAN JOLLOF RICE

If you go to any party,event or occasion in Nigeria and you did not see jollof rice my dear have it in mind,that event isnt complete at all, its culture that jollof rice must be served, well here is a simple recipe of Nigerian jollof rice try it and give me feed backs…

INGREDIENTS

  1. Rice  …………….               1 kg
  2. Tin tomatoes  ..                1 tin
  3. Chicken  ………                 1 kg
  4. Onion …………..                 3 balls
  5. Dry pepper …….                to taste
  6. seasoning cubes  ……….     to taste
  7. Ginger   ………………………   to taste
  8. Garlic  ………………………..    to taste
  9. Thyme  ……………………….    to taste
  10. Curry  …………………………    to taste
  11. Salt  …………………………..    to taste
  12. Fresh pepper  ……………..   to taste
  13. Vegetable oil ………………. 2 cooking spoon

STEPS

  1. Parboil the rice and keep aside

MAKE CHICKEN STOCK

  1. Put the chicken in a clean pot
  2. Add onion,dry pepper,seasonings,ginger and garlic
  3. Add curry,thyme and salt(add other good spices if you any)
  4. mix properly then add water(allow to cook)

SET THE CHICKEN STOCK ASIDE AND PREPARE THE  GRAVEY

  1. Add veg.oil
  2. Add fresh pepper and onion (stir properly)
  3. Add the tomato paste and allow to  fry very well (then set aside)

NOW MAKE THE JOLLOF RICE

  1. Add the chicken stock in a pot
  2. Add the gravey and then set to boil(add water if needed)
  3. Add little pepper,seasonings and salt (if needed) allow to boil
  4. Add the parboiled rice and allow to cook

INGREDIENTS

  1. Regular pancake mix   ………………………….  500g
  2. Banana ………………………………………………  2
  3. Eggs      ……………………………………………..  3

STEPS

  1. Smash your banana
  2. Add eggs to the smashed banana (mix properly)
  3. Add the (regular pancakes mix) one after the other
  4. Add milk if the mixture is thick
  5. Mix until smooth … then fry
